Do you know you are unhappy?

This might seem like a strange question to ask but experience tells me that a lot of people just muddle through life, often acquiring really unhealthy habits, because they can feel something isn’t right in their World but feel the effort involved in trying to sort how they feel out would be just too much for them.  Being unhappy can have that effect on someone.  This uneasiness makes us feel sluggish, despondent and “that it is all just too much” in the kindest of it’s stages but can lead to really unhealthy habits  such as drinking just a little too much, eating for comfort, being angry etc. etc. in its advanced stage

The solution sounds easy – just stop and sort it out and then get on with living the life you really want to live.  However in practice most people don’t even understand what it is that makes them unhappy let alone trying to unravel it and those that can articulate it, with only their own thoughts or the “views” of others to go on – round and round and round in their head  – again it all becomes just too much to bother.  That is when it is good to have a conversation with an impartial person who won’t offer advice or provide a solution but they will get you to find your own solution.
